getting old nintendo merchandise and games is probably the most expensive game company related collection you can get. most ds pokemon games can range from $70-100+ cad and often are priced up more when paired with the case; gba games like rse run on a battery clock that's usually dead long before you buy; pokewalkers are always a mixed bag, but never less than 60 cad.
comics and manga! i've had to bar myself from buying any more (for now) because i literally don't have any shelf space for more and they take up so much room. i try to focus on sets rather than individual books from different series so they look nice on a shelf, but then i see a manga i've read before in store and i'm like!! points!!! i remember you!!!!! and a wizard takes my 17 dollars
